Still and Strong Yoga
Yoga in the service of a healthier life.
What started on the mat for both of us – finding physical relief or injury prevention – over time moved off the mat. Yoga became a practice that helped us feel better in our lives. Off the mat. In the office. At the gym. At home. With family. With friends. With partners.
We practice yoga to support us in how we navigate life’s inevitable challenges, how we breathe in moments of stress, how we find stilness amidst chaos, and how we connect with each other.
And this leads us to the mission of Still and Strong Yoga – to break the stereotypes about yoga that we see on Instagram or YouTube, and help everyone find their Yoga practice. A yoga practice that enables you to feel a little stronger and a little more still. Because with a still mind and a strong body, life feels more peaceful. Life feels more purposeful.
Although popular culture may lead you to think that Yoga is not for you if you don’t fit the stereotypical image of Yoga often seen on social media, remember that although not every yoga is for every body, yoga is for everybody.
We believe true and sustainable transformation is work. No one-off transformation, “30-day challenges”, no “perfect” poses. Instead, a practice, a habit, a ritual that fits your needs and supports your wellbeing goals, whether this is feeling more flexible, having a healthy back, relieving sciatica pain, or stress and anxiety. And even to feel with more self-confidence and trust in yourself and life.
We teach yoga classes and events in both English and German in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Area, including Erlangen and Herzogenaurach. Our Yoga retreats are currently exclusive to Mondsee, Austria.
